IN THIS ROLE

OLIPOP is seeking an authentic, passionate, self-directed leader with an entrepreneurial spirit to manage FP&A during an exciting period of growth for OLIPOP. You will manage the planning and analysis activities for the business including 3 yr planning.

Responsibilities

• Be a champion of our culture and lead by example- helping the team understand and live our core values, while achieving our company goals.
• Implement process & tool improvements to support growth and scale within the finance department
• Analyze profitability by product/channel/customer/skus
• Responsible for all board, executive, and corporate reporting and preparation
• Drive profit optimization opportunities and tracking
• Structure and develop a team that aligns with our strategy and corporate requirements
• Ad- hoc analysis and projects as requested
• Support investment decisions in products, categories, or process improvements
• Own the Olipop financial model to provide analysis
• Responsible for some portion of equity raise initiatives (material preparation, quality of earning audit, cost of capital analysis, due diligence)
• Own financial planning and budget management processes
• Lead the preparation and completion of any modeling needed for strategic decisions
• Develop & improve pricing and margin models for existing and new products
• Compare monthly operating results against budget
• Work with revenue function on deal pricing reviews, commissions reviews
• Lead monthly functional department reviews with owners, investigate key variances
• Lead the Long Range Planning Process, coordinating with business leaders to develop 3-year business plans, including booking, revenue, and expenses.
• Create detailed forecasting process across all departments and all aspects of P&L and balance sheet

Qualifications

• High level of emotional intelligence and cultural competency, with demonstrated ability to utilize a variety of conflict resolution techniques.
• Must be willing to work primarily remote, and able to work flexible hours. Travel (approximately 20%) for employee off-sites.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, accounting, and finance principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• 10+ years of experience managing a finance function at a company with strong cultural values. Prior experience at a rapidly scaling startup or remote working environment is a plus.
• Expertise at creating processes and tools to support budget process and profitability analysis.
• Competence in Zoom meeting host features, Google Suite and Microsoft Suite. Experience with team collaboration tools such as Slack is preferred.
• A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation skills.
• MBA or CPA preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Deeply passionate about OLIPOP and inspired by what we represent.
• Capable of operating at Strategic level but still willing to roll-up your sleeves and do the work.

Compensation

$175,000 base salary + 25% annual bonus
