Candidates are measured on the following four performance drivers, which will dictate how individual impact is considered on the Americas platform:

  • Creates trust with colleagues.
  • Able to build relationships with a mix of colleagues and clients.
  • Perceived as a person of high moral character; upholds corporate values and displays high ethical standards.
  • Responsible for driving outcomes, which have meaningful effect on team or department.
  • Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Compliance Culture and Conduct:
  • Results and Impact
  • Acts in leadership capacity for projects, processes, or programs.

Responsibilities:

The most critical contribution is to have a view on the calibration of risk appetite for each counterparty. Liaising with TRS & RISK to understand tail risk of client trades, to identify situations of concern requiring escalation (pre trade or post trade) or action (post trade) based on early warnings (from KYC, FIC or ICAT, public news) or from the portfolio (stress tests, alternative metrics), or from any ratio combining those data are important examples to achieve this goal.

The role includes interactions with GBL (sales and traders), TRS, SOO, ICAT, FIC and RISK.

The role includes close coordination with GM CCR global experts based in EMEA.

It is expected that part of the time will be also allocated to doing the same work for other institutional clients (Banks, insurance companies…) and corporates.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

The person has a strong experience of CCR matters and of the various factors influencing the credit strength of a counterparty. The person has a good understanding of market risk metrics (greeks).

The person is able to identify situations of concern based stress tests, or complementary metrics or a description of the cash flows of a trade, and the information related to the client (size, strength, correlation,…).

The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
