C.A.S.E. is seeking an experienced child welfare or mental health professional with high energy and entrepreneurial spirit to provide national outreach to child welfare and mental health systems. The Implementation Specialist (IS) must be highly skilled, dynamic and have the ability to navigate varying complex systems, i.e. institutions, state agencies, etc. to support uptake and implementation of the National Adoption Competency Mental Health Training (NTI). The successful IS will have the acumen to establish and maintain partnerships at all levels.
This is a full-time, exempt remote position reporting to the Director, of the National Training Institute.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing support for outreach and access to marketing materials.
- Troubleshooting challenges as they arise to support ongoing integration and use of NTI; and
- Actively collaborates with NTI Team to address challenges and opportunities regarding implementation, integration, and sustainability of NTI trainings.
- Coordinate with NTI Team to facilitate access to NTI training links and materials for integration through C.A.S.E.’s learning management system (LMS) or integration into the organization’s LMS.
- Provides outreach, engagement and implementation support to child welfare and mental health systems and organizations including:
- compiling and tracking contacts and establishing and maintaining relationships with organizations.
- gauging buy-in to and understanding of NTI Training by system leaders.
- providing support for outreach and access to marketing materials.
- actively collaborates with NTI Team to address challenges and opportunities regarding implementation, integration, and sustainability of NTI trainings.
- coordinate with NTI Team to facilitate access to NTI training links and materials for integration through C.A.S.E.’s learning management system (LMS) or integration into the organization’s LMS.
- troubleshooting challenges as they arise to support ongoing integration and use of NTI; and
- Works with the NTI Team to create and implement educational and transfer of learning opportunities to support organizations in infusion of skills learned in the training.
- Compiles distribution lists and prospecting research on organizations to provide outreach for NTI.
- Demonstrates ability to strategically identify and define barriers, seek creative and effective solutions, and inform Director/Team of issues requiring joint planning, decision-making and/or problem resolution.
- Develops and provides presentations to interested stakeholders on the value of adoption competency, NTI training overviews, and curriculum-specific content, including conference presentations and exhibits.
- Gauging buy-in to and understanding of NTI Training by system leaders.
- Compiling and tracking contacts and establishing and maintaining relationships with organizations.
- Provides timely tracking of all project activities for periodic reporting, quality assurance and evaluation.
- Responds accurately and timely to product/training inquiries and clearly communicates training features and benefits.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideal candidates will possess a master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Human Services.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in child welfare, permanency planning, adoption/guardianship, or mental health areas of practice is preferred. Prefer experience with collective impact initiatives, social research implementation or large-scale training initiatives at the community/state level and collaboration with child welfare or mental health leaders.
Experience with public sector is required.
Candidate should have a working knowledge of child welfare and mental health concepts and language.
