Description

The SHAZAM Network is expanding their core implementation team. We are looking for an Implementation Technical Specialist to join our existing staff to provide technical expertise to our customers and team. The role of the Implementation Technical Specialist is to provide quality technical support related to the implementation of the SHAZAM core, digital banking, document imaging and ancillary systems while building a strong foundation for a lasting business relationship. You will monitor progress of programs/projects through internal reviews and participation in team meetings. This position also exercises discretion and judgment relating to the resolution of issues and problems that arise during the project which may impact project deadlines. The Implementation Technical Specialist has the discretion to propose improvements to processes and procedures.


OTHER ACTIVITIES

  • Must be detail oriented while exercising a high degree of caution in a high expectations environment, ensuring that all client data is secure and well protected during the rigors of the implementation period.
  • Assists the Support and Professional Services teams on an ongoing basis as needed when not actively working on an implementation and following an implementation during the post-conversion period.
  • Assists with implementation and troubleshooting of interfaces with ancillary banking product providers including but not limited to online banking, IVR, ATM, account origination, and item processing.
  • Must work well with Core Implementation and Professional Services department members, receiving and processing requests for assistance related to the implementation of a project as well as troubleshooting challenges impacting progress.
  • Documents product issues and works with Development/Support teams on resolution.
  • Travels to customer site if deemed necessary.
  • Exercises discretion and judgment to establish key milestone dates for the project that align with the client’s business needs and the execution of work by internal IT and training resources as well as third-party vendors. Identifies and facilitates the resolution and impact of risks, gaps, and issues utilizing discretion and judgment to resolve issues, problems and disputes relating to the project that may impact project deadlines and may require adjusting timelines
  • Coordinates and manages the technical aspects of the implementation process for SHAZAM core, digital banking, document imaging and ancillary systems.
  • Responds to a support request on a regular schedule to solve problems impacting internal or external customers.

SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Strong customer service skills required.
  • Organized, detail oriented and dependable work habits.
  • Effective communication and documentation skills.
  • Highly motivated and fully engaged with a commitment to high standards/zero defect mindset.
  • Basic computer troubleshooting skills are required. Knowledge of core banking systems and ancillary products is a plus.
  • Knowledge of IBM iSeries, RPG, SQL databases (PostgreSQL), FTP, Windows, Unix, Linux (RedHat), Bash Scripting, and Salesforce.
  • Experience with a customer ticket tracking system preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years technical support experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing projects across departmental boundaries.
  • Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines, to work overtime and/or be “on call” as needed.
  • Must have excellent conflict resolution skills and the ability to lead and participate as a team leader or team member in a team's conflict resolution and consensus building process, as well as assisting in maintaining positive team morale and team cohesion.
  • Must be available and willing to work such weekends and holidays as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
  • Ability to communicate via the telephone, email, Teams, and in person with customers, colleagues, and business partners regarding products and services.
  • Ability to travel to other locations to perform system set-up/monitor go live activity if deemed necessary.
  • Ability to review documentation and input, access and retrieve information to and from a computer for hours at a time.
  • Ability to recognize problems and react quickly.

Starting annual salary from $70,300 to $79,100.*

  • Actual compensation will be based upon factors such as geographic location, experience, education, and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
