Staff Tax Accountant Jobs

Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant

Part time/Full time in the office

Responsibilities

Weekly bookkeeping for multiple clients utilizing QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks online, including, but not limited to monthly bank reconciliations, tracking of accounts payable and accounts receivable, payroll report tie outs, and sales tax deposits. Assistance during tax season of basic input of tax returns using Lacerte Tax. Phone/receptionist backup when admin needs assistance. Scanning in tax documents when clients drop off paper documents.

Must be a self starter and have attention to detail.

Qualifications

QuickBooks proficient- QuickBooks Advisor preferred

Experience with Lacerte

Ability to use Microsoft Outlook

Can multi task and handle more than one client at a time

Positive attitude-we condone a positive work environment, not your typical CPA firm

Previous CPA firm or bookkeeping firm experience preferred

Good written and verbal communication skills
