Senior Accountant Consultant Jobs

About the Opportunity: A large manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Accountant Consultant to support the month-end close process as a utility player.
Duration: 2-3 months minimum
Location: 100% Remote on PST hours
Compensation: $50-60/HR W2
Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
Scope

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and minimize inefficiencies
• Prepare various journal entries and other accounting transactions, maintain overall accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, and ensure that financial statements are GAAP and IFRS compliant
• Hands-on support of the GL function as a sole contributor
• Timely completion of month-end close procedures and complex reconciliations under firm deadlines
• Complete the monthly consolidation uploads and flows of changes in balance sheet and profit and loss accounts
• Interface with other departments and business units to obtain information required for accounting analysis
• Prepare and analyze fixed asset additions and ensure timely and accurate with company policies

Qualifications & Expertise

• Cash accounting and/or reserve accounting
• Experience with Oracle and strong with Excel, preferred
• Senior Accountant experience for a large company, required
• Bachelor's degree required
• Well-rounded GL experience
