Staff Accountant Jobs

General Ledger Duties

• Maintain company bank reconciliation
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Maintain general ledger reconciliations for month-end and year-end close
• Posting incoming cash to customer accounts
• Review A/P invoice account coding for accuracy

Other Duties

• Accounts receivable invoicing – fully automated system
• Assist Controller with cost analyses of standard cost variances
• Sales order entry backup person
• Preparation and submission of monthly sales taxes

Education, Experience And Skills Needed

• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• Standard cost accounting experience a plus
• Three to five years of Staff Accountant experience
• Experienced with Accounting software systems, Epicor preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Microsoft Excel experience required

Salary Range: $29.00 - $35.00 n hour
