Senior Staff Accountant Jobs

We are looking for a general accountant with experience. This individual will take ownership of the accounts payable accounting function as well as other aspects of maintaining a full P&L. This person will manage multiple priorities at a time in a fast-paced environment. In addition, this person will ideally be excited about being able to contribute to multiple aspects within the trial balance and across multiple entities.

• Monitor and reconcile all check deposits
• Calculate and record commissions
• Process payroll to GL twice a month
• Support quarterly reviews and annual audits performed by external auditors
• Protect business against unintentional overpayment
• Ownership of full AP cycle
• Manage Fixed Assets register, including GL depreciation
• Manage intercompany transactions
• Prepare weekly check runs
• Manage low volume customer credit card payments
• Complete special projects as needed
• Other duties as assigned by Manager
• Monitor and reconcile all credit card transactions
• Record all cash flow transactions and post forecast transactions

Requirements
Required Qualifications

• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (or related degree)
• Ability to interact with both internal and external departments/customers in a positive manner
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize/balance multiple tasks in order to meet team goals and deadlines
• An eye for detail; you triple check your work to ensure accuracy of accounting records
• Critical thinking skills to identify process improvements and efficiencies
• Highly efficient in accounts payable duties and genuinely enjoys working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
• Willingness to contribute beyond the defined role to meet our needs as circumstances require
• Self-starter and strong desire to achieve results

Preferred Qualifications

• NetSuite experience is preferred
• 4 or more years of relevant experience in an AP or general accounting function preferred

Compensation: $112,800 - $127,500 annually
Work schedule: Monday - Friday (hybrid: 3 days in office, and 2 days remote). 8:00am - 5:00pm
