We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our Cascade team in Chico, CA. (remote/hybrid) You will be responsible for reporting, monthly closing, sales and property tax, assisting the Controller in responding to various accounting, finance, and company financial information needs.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Prepare and enter SAP Business Warehouse P&L and Balance Sheet each month
• Help coordinate and create information for annual financial audits
• Collect and analyze financial data for a variety of ad-hoc reports for accounting and finance in support of department and company financial needs.
• Administrator for ADP PCPayroll, Concur, 401k Plan, WFN (HRB), ezLabor
• Prepare and reconcile monthly journal entries and accruals
• Reconcile various balance sheet accounts each month
• Coordinate information required for tax and benefit audits
• Assist the Controller as needed
• Apply and maintain business, occupational, sales and property tax licensing for all locations
• Apply and maintain certificates to do business in each state
• Provides and resolves discrepancies from the various financial systems
• Prepare profit and loss statements, balance sheet and other financial reports each month
• Calculates and complete all monthly, quarterly and yearly sales tax returns

Qualifications

• Expert Word, Excel including but not limited to Pivot Tables / Linking / complex formula and what if analysis
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent computer skills Excellent communication and organizational skills
• 5 years experience in general accounting and general ledger functions
• BS Degree in Accounting or Finance

Salary Disclosure: Annual salary range $75,000-$85,000
