Remote Staff Accountant (Manufacturing / Aerospace)

Will perform the following duties:

• Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to provide strategic recommendations for optimizing resource utilization.
• Review, reconcile, and record financial data from diverse systems into the central financial records, maintaining precision and consistency.
• Provide reliable backup support to fellow team members, lending assistance whenever required.
• Perform meticulous reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, meticulously identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure data integrity.
• Perform in-depth examination of expenditures, accurately assess, and track the value of long-term assets throughout their lifespan.
• Engage actively in diverse projects and assignments as assigned, displaying flexibility and adaptability.
• Oversee the organization and management of data storage by the Finance Team, ensuring efficient retrieval and retention of critical information.
• Prepare comprehensive supporting documentation for journal entries and balance sheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2 years of comprehensive accounting experience, including expertise in reconciliations and maintaining general ledger records throughout the entire accounting cycle.
• A degree with a focus in accounting, finance, business administration, or a closely related field. Alternatively, demonstrate equivalent education and work experience.
• Exhibit strong organizational, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines consistently.
• Display the ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment, both remotely and onsite, by effectively communicating and collaborating with team members.
