Sr. Manager, Technical Design RTW

Title: Snr Manager Technical Design, RTW


Primary Purpose: Snr Manager Technical Design is a strategic partner responsible for the execution of RTW product from development to commercialization. They are responsible for analyzing and evaluating garments to deliver the correct fit specifications and brand aesthetic. Cross functional partner to the Design, Product Development, and Atelier and Regional Support teams.

  • Support and collaborate with factory technical teams with the concept of continuous improvement.
  • Oversee development and production process ensuring all approvals lead to on time delivery
  • Lead research, development, and the standardization of techniques to support Design and elevate quality.
  • Quality and Risk Management on a seasonal basis working closely with RM partners to mitigate product risk at an early stage in development process.
  • Establish strong relationships with cross functional and global partners.
  • Review and manage bulk production reports and work with cross-functional team to create corrective action plans.
  • The Senior Technical Designer will support the seasonal design and merchandising process by partnering with the Design, Product Development, Patternmaking and Merchandising teams.
  • Lead, Oversee and communicate garment specifications from initial concept to production.
  • Has expertise in garment construction, patternmaking, global sizing, and industrialization.
