Sr. Product Manager, Ads

We are looking for a Sr. Product Manager to lead key ad products at eBay. You will work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and roll-out your products. You will have a dedicated engineering and ML team and will work with our advertisers, marketing and sales/GTM teams to create great experiences related to Advertiser Recommendations around targeting, listing quality, bids and advertising budget. You will also manage the complete business metrics of your product including establishing key metrics, setting and meeting goals on key areas like relevance, engagement and retention.

Responsibilities

• Lead business reviews and manage to a core set of metrics and KPIs for the business
• Deliver high quality business requirements documents for product product launches, secure sign-off across multiple senior stakeholders
• Work with analytics partners to dive-deep and drive data driven analysis to surface useful business insights and product requirements for advertisers
• Define and manage high quality product roadmaps for Advertiser recommendations based on your product vision and strategy
• Work directly with tech, research and design teams to improve products, vet new ideas and make tradeoffs throughout the product life cycle

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, tradeoffs and new ideas with research and engineering teams
• Preferred experience in Cost-per-Click (CPC/PPC) Ads, with an understanding of campaign targeting, bidding and budgeting
• Ability to turn ideas into detailed business requirements and effectively communicate those requirements
• 5-8 years of product management experience
• Preferred experience working in e-commerce
• Demonstrated ability to understand data, derive insights and build directional conviction on business using data

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York City is expected in the range below.

$149,200 - $234,850

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
