The Senior Technical Designer is responsible for ensuring fit, quality and construction with precision engineering for Production while maintaining design aesthetics and integrity. The Senior Technical Designer will collaborate closely with OSO Senior Technical Designer to ensure seamless communication. The Senior Technical Designer is responsible for instituting technical fit expertise and for providing accurate, detailed tech packs for development and all counter samples. The Senior Technical Designer will support CLO 3D initiatives.

• Serve as a technical expert in area of responsibility (Tech Pack creation, fittings, etc.)
• Adhere to end-to-end seasonal calendar ensuring seasonal deadlines are met. Escalate any issues with deadlines up to the next level.
• Support Brand/Company initiatives.
• Manage & maintain Brand Block Library (Specs & e-Patterns); Create & maintain Virtual 3D Block Library.
• Support scaling & integration of 3D in the Pre-Fit process; utilize 3D to evaluate grading on avatars to reduce sample iterations & expedite fit approval process.
• Adhere to MMG Brand/Product Standards & guidelines for fit, construction, quality, safety & cost savings; drive fit consistency, quality and workmanship to ensure Brand integrity.
• Lead fit sessions & adhere to fit protocol.
• Adhere to annual model budget.

• Demonstrate ability to adapt to a dynamic team and global business environment.
• Strong analytical skills and able to make complex decisions.
• Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Be proactive with ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Proficient in PLM or similar system and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing, machinery & production processes.
• Expertise in patternmaking, fit, garment construction, grading & understanding how it impacts cost of product & manufacturing.
• Knowledge of patternmaking, fit, construction & grading.
• Knowledge of Apparel 3D Software, a plus.

• Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around facility or department
• Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs
