The Role Summary:

The Senior Director of People & Culture will be our first internal human resources hire and will lead all People & Culture efforts across the entire organization.


Responsibilities:

This position will require the ability to be tactical and work on matters such as employee inquiries, benefits, people experience, and recruiting while also being strategic and driving global workforce efforts through various initiatives such as organizational design and performance management. Being a growing technology enabled media company, requires agility to keep up with the pace of change; this team member will need to be nimble while identifying initiatives and working collaboratively to further define our unified culture.


Your day to day will include:

  • Overseeing the full-cycle US employee experience from recruiting, onboarding and rewards to performance management and offboarding
  • Championing organizational change in key areas such as DE&I, career pathing, and employee engagement in partnership with the broader company
  • Cultivating strong relationships and being a trusted advisor and advocate for our team members
  • Partnering cross-functionally with Senior Leadership to set the objectives and goals for the entire team, as well as supporting the definition of the People & Culture Team vision
  • Optimizing the function of our HRIS and leveraging data to inform people decisions and processes


You will be successful at this role if you have:

  • Experience working in a variety of cultural and international settings, with excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven leadership experience as an HR Business Partner and/or HR Generalist providing guidance and support to team members of all levels in a highly complex and dynamic business setting
  • Fostered a positive and inclusive workplace culture where you successfully energized and inspired your workforce
  • An analytical mindset and data driven approach
  • Thrived in ambiguity, while navigating complex and challenging situations
  • Experience applying knowledge of basic US employment law (i.e., FMLA and ADA)
