The People Operations team is the backbone of the People Team. We create conditions that support productivity and an outstanding employee experience. Honor is looking for a Senior People Operations Specialist who will support the People Team responsibilities related to the management of our HR systems.


We are looking for a driven and detail oriented Senior People Operations Associate. In this role you will work closely with our operations, recruiting, and legal teams to ensure we are meeting and exceeding all guidelines and needs. We are looking for someone who is passionate about finding new and innovative ways to support our growing workforce. As a People Operations Associate here at Honor you will help with all aspects of employee onboarding, training, records keeping, payroll, operations, and help maintain compliance with government labor laws and regulations. The Senior People Operations Associate will also support Management with specific projects and tasks as needed.


Responsibilities


  • Process and respond to unemployment claims for former employees.
  • Build positive relationships with employees through excellent and proactive communication.
  • Manage new employee onboarding process, including background checks, data entry, and document generation.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to execute strategic projects that support the company’s goals.
  • Ensure and maintain data integrity in our HR systems with a high level of accuracy. Generate reports as needed.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Respond to employment verification requests.
  • Oversee employee inquiries to ensure they are answered and/or routed in a timely manner.

You are a detail oriented, self-motivated, data-driven, and collaborative individual who is passionate about fostering a positive work culture, creating efficiencies, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. In this role you will be a key player in supporting People processes and systems that will help Honor continue to build a world class team and employee experience.


To succeed in the role, you’ll need:


  • 2+ years experience in HR, administrative, communications, and/or service-oriented role
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent technical skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Strong problem-solver with ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, systems, and protocols
  • Experience working in a high growth company and the ability to adapt to ongoing change
  • Positive, can-do attitude, and professional telephone demeanor
  • Bachelor’s degree, HR certificate, or equivalent experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to balance multiple assignments


Our range reflects the hiring range for this position. We use national average to determine pay as we are a remote first company. Individual pay is based on a number of factors including qualifications, skills, experience, education, and training.


Base pay is just a part of our total rewards program. Honor offers equity and 401K with up to a 4% match. We provide medical, dental and vision coverage including zero cost plans for employees. Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability and Life Insurance are fully employer paid with a voluntary additional Life Insurance option. We offer a generous time off program, mental health benefits, wellness program, and discount program.


Hourly Hiring Range


$27.70—$30.80 USD
