About the role:
As the Founder of S.H.A.R.E. Community Development Corp, I’m seeking a unique, dynamic, and transformational individual to serve as a Senior Executive Assistant and trusted right-hand person. This individual most have outstanding character, work ethic, professionalism, demeanor, and be sort of a “Jack/Jill of all trades” in their abilities to assist me with any responsibilities assigned to them. This position will require strong emotional intelligence, superior analytical skills, a combination of focus and flexibility, a willingness to work both as a team player and as an individual, and the ability to play an active role behind the scenes completing multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
In this role you will work a normal 40-hour work week in our Houston headquarters office downtown Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. You will provide support, insight, critical thinking, and high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing reports, writing correspondence, doing some HR work as necessary, maintaining schedules, answering calls and responding as necessary, planning events both online and in person, arranging travel when needed, meeting and hosting visitors or representatives as a representative of the Founder, attending meetings as necessary, and maintaining the strictest of confidentiality and discretion regarding all meetings, projects, and assignments, etc.
You will also have to exercise independent judgment and discretion as necessary and must also be comfortable operating in a connected and technology-rich environment while demonstrating exemplary time management, organizational skills and multi-tasking.
Job tasks are not STRICTLY defined, and your role can change from assignment to project and vary greatly from week to week and even day to day.
Must Have Skills Required (Not optional):
- Strong Effective Verbal and Written communication skills
- Ability and internal drive to demonstrate a winning attitude and a strong work ethic in the performance of all job responsibilities
- Strong Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop solid working relationships at all levels across the organization both internally and externally
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, accurate work within designated deadlines
- Advanced to Master skill level in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.
- Moderate to Advanced skill level in Microsoft 365 Platform environment including Teams
- Ability to maintain confidential and/or proprietary information
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
- Master's degree or Doctorate Degree: preferred
- Punctual, media quality appearance, and corporate attire daily
- Currently unemployed or available to start immediately is a must
- Proficiency with computers including knowledge of shortcuts and the ability to type in excess of 60 words per minute
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; required
- Minimum 8 years relevant experience as Corporate Executive Assistant to Director level or above, or previous business owner experience as equivalent
- Business start-up or re-launch experience
