Skywing Aero, a startup specializing in the design and manufacturing of blended wing body aircraft, is seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Co-Founder to join our team. As a Co-Founder, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our company and driving its success.

Responsibilities:

• Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and potential business opportunities for blended wing body aircraft.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, and systems, to integrate various components into the blended wing body aircraft design.
• Manufacturing Strategy: Develop a comprehensive manufacturing strategy, including processes, quality control, and supply chain management, to efficiently produce blended wing body aircraft.
• Funding and Partnerships: Actively participate in fundraising efforts and establish strategic partnerships with relevant stakeholders in the aviation industry.
• Prototyping and Testing: Oversee the construction, testing, and validation of prototypes to verify performance characteristics and identify areas for improvement.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise and leadership in blended wing body aircraft design, engineering, and manufacturing processes.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of the company's long-term strategic plans, including product roadmap, market expansion, and revenue generation.
• Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and manage a skilled team of engineers, designers, and technicians to support the company's growth and operational objectives.
• Aircraft Design: Lead the development and optimization of blended wing body aircraft designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Research and Development: Conduct extensive research and analysis to identify innovative design concepts and technologies for enhanced performance, efficiency, and safety.

Requirements:

• Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a proven track record of successfully launching and scaling innovative projects or businesses.
• Deep understanding of aircraft certification processes and regulations, including FAA and EASA standards.
• Knowledge of market trends, customer demands, and competitive dynamics in the aviation industry.
• Proficiency in using industry-standard design and analysis software, such as CATIA, SolidWorks, or equivalent.
• Extensive experience and expertise in blended wing body aircraft design, development, and manufacturing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Minimum of a master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field. A Ph.D. is preferred.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse group of professionals.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
