Overview


As the Senior Director, Marketing Operations you will govern the marketing infrastructure: technology, data, process, budget and processes to ensure the marketing functions work efficiently and collaboratively. Your big goal is to maximize the return of the marketing investment. You will work with your peer group (Marketing Leadership team) that own various specialties in Marketing and with the Marketing Executive Team to create a 360 degree view of our performance – from planning through results. Because we are an integrated marketing team, marketing operations is a force multiplier – your team is here to provide data to support proper planning, insights to adjust in execution and analysis to provide a complete picture of our results.


Responsibilities

  • Manage teams that specialize in Automation, Analytics and Project Management – both execution/production and the strategic use of technology to support objectives
  • Manage and develop teams that specialize in automation, analytics and/or project management
  • Maximize third party and/or agency resources to load balance, accelerate Marketo/tech maturity of the organization and identify projects centered around elevating tech to increase knowledge/intelligence to drive strategy
  • Develop and implement scalable marketing automation processes and integrated systems, providing a means for highly effective measurement, recommendations, trend reporting and accurate forecasting.
  • Govern and optimize the Marketing/Sales Funnel; partnering closely with Sales and Marketing leadership to build and sustain a scalable funnel, aligned to business need.
  • Partner with Marketing + Sales leadership and Finance / Strategy Operations to develop and execute on strategic initiatives, such as: campaign effectiveness, identify segments and audiences with biggest potential, lead scoring for SDR prioritization, lifecycle nurture effectiveness, increase stick rates for booked meetings, etc


Qualifications


To be considered for and to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.


Qualifications Include


  • Exceptionally strong communication skills, including experience effectively communicating with executive leadership
  • Google Analytics certification, HubSpot/Marketo experience, Leading and trailing trend analysis, channel forecasting, Salesforce certified and expert, data analysis and visualization expert.
  • Highly accountable self-starter that is able to work with little direct supervision.
  • Proven experience leading a Marketing Operations / Analytics organization with direct involvement supporting marketing + sales strategy, and campaign performance management.
  • Knowledge of and passion for marketing concepts, methods and techniques
  • Prior experience leveraging Marketing operations / analytics / services teams (e.g. IT, SFDC, BI, etc.) to scale and achieve goals
  • 7+years’ experience in Marketing Analytics / Operations; 5+ years in leading and managing a scaled and multifaceted team.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify early signals/trends and quickly solution set / problem solve.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance/Accounting
  • A desire to work in a high growth and results-oriented team environment.

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $125,000 - $170,000. The compensation range is specific to the United States and incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
