Job Description
BES is a national nonprofit organization that identifies and prepares excellent leaders to transform education in their communities. Over more than two decades, BES has prepared leaders to found 200+ schools in 50 cities across 20 states and Washington DC, educating 63,000+ students – of whom 82 percent qualify for free/reduced lunch, and 94 percent identify as students of color. In all, BES has trained more than 2,700 leaders to found, lead, and grow schools through its leadership development offerings.


BES is finalizing its strategic plan for 2023-2028, and this new position will play a key role in its implementation. Over the next five years, BES will significantly grow leadership development programming to support the sector with building and sustaining a pipeline of strong leaders across public schools in the country.


We are looking for a senior marketing leader to support this work by (1) creating and executing on a robust marketing strategy to drive enrollment and (2) leading a marketing team to implement that vision with fidelity. This leader will report to the BES Chief Strategy Officer. This teammate is responsible for building and enacting a strategy to generate leads and bring in future program participants, along with communicating more generally about BES to our key audiences.


Key Responsibilities:
