Senior Director of Corporate Marketing
Job Summary
The position is responsible for strategy, management and execution of key marketing functions including Internal Communications, Branding/UVP, Solutions Marketing, and Events. This includes developing strategic marketing plans for each function and managing execution with the team of Marketing Specialists and Associates. This functional leader will closely align and collaborate with line of business leaders, sales leaders, and shared services leaders. This role reports to the Senior Vice President of Marketing, who collaborates with the Senior Marketing Director to set direction on strategy, brand and marketing programs. Key focus areas include corporate brand strategy and activation, M&A communications, PR, sales enablement support and events, solution marketing in the areas of AI, Security and Data Analytics, and other marketing areas as needed.
Essential Duties

• Define and execute corporate marketing and brand strategy, resulting in consistent branding, messaging and positioning.
• Manage agency relationships.
• Manage, build, and lead a strong team by recruiting, coaching and developing team members.
• Develop and manage solution GTM strategy.
• Ongoing collaboration with sales, partner alliances and LOB leaders.
• Oversee national event strategy and execution for conferences and industry events, in collaboration with Demand Gen team and priorities, and support internal events.
• Manage corporate communications including executive communications, messaging development, and PR.
• Work closely with Marketing leadership team to contribute to the definition of the strategic objectives for marketing and build strong working relationships to deliver as a team.
• Develop and manage social media strategy.
• Create and direct market and competitive research and analysis.

Required Skills

• Team supervisory experience and proven leadership
• Experience in leading the marketing/communications functions during merger, divestiture and acquisition/integrations
• Experience with marketing automation
• 10+ years of previous experience in technology or telecommunications marketing leadership, sales or advertising in a fast paced, professional environment
• Proven event management experience
• Proven brand experience
• Budget and agency management
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, economics, advertising, public relations or related field

Preferred

• Master’s degree in business or related field
• Marketing Customer Experience expertise
• Marketing and Finance Marketing experience
