Job Description

Senior Marketing Operations Analyst B2B


The Senior Marketing Operations Analyst will report to the Director, Sales and Marketing Operations and will use data-driven insights to foster alignment between sales and marketing B2B strategies.


Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Generate reports and provide analysis on campaign effectiveness, ROI, and conversion rates to optimize marketing efforts
  • Partner with technical and non-technical internal stakeholders on their strategies and tactics to ensure programs and campaigns are successful
  • Involvement with other special planning projects as needed
  • Drive ad-hoc analysis and make recommendations on key decisions based on data
  • Compile analysis into visualizations that empower stakeholders to make educated data-driven decisions
  • Support ongoing operations by working with end-users and vendors to understand and resolve system issues to optimally use system functionality
  • Conduct market research to identify target audiences, market segments, and competitive landscape
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns, including digital advertising, content marketing, and social media, using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
  • Partner with functional teams to align our scaling and productivity efforts, identifying levers to drive the biggest and most impactful change across the organization
  • Analyze client preferences to inform marketing strategies and campaigns to retain and reactivate existing clients
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing plans that align with business objectives
  • Utilize data analytics tools and platforms to extract meaningful insights and make data-driven recommendations
  • Clearly articulate analyses, develop recommendations for the business and gain buy in from leadership based on insights
  • Provide analytical, operational and decision making support to the Sales, Account Management, Marketing and Revenue Operations leadership teams


Preferred Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Marketing or related field, or 2-4 years of related experience in a qualifying position-related field
  • Have 3+ years of hands-on experience across meaningful fields e.g. Operations/Business Analysts, Business Data Analysts, Marketing Analysts or other analytical backgrounds
  • HubSpot Marketing Hub experience a plus
  • Marketo experience a plus
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud experience a plus
  • B2B Marketing Experience preferred
  • Advanced experience with Excel, BI and data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.)

  • Working knowledge of campaign planning, execution, and measurement
  • Analytical skills coupled with a solid business foundation, particularly in marketing topics
  • Familiarity with international and domestic email compliance regulations


Your Work Environment (Physical Demands)

Remote/Hybrid: Typically work is performed either in an office environment or a suitable workspace to conduct business free of distractions and background noise. This position requires compliance for all occupational safety and health standards, rules, and regulations. Below are a few standards specific for this position:

  • Sit or stand for long periods of time and walk short distances
  • Experience using various technology platforms to drive effective decisions.
  • Regularly required to talk, hear, and communicate in writing
