The Sr Director of HR Special Ops will be a change leader who thrives on transformation and continuous improvement and development of innovative solutions to delight our employees which are aligned with our strategic priorities. As a member of the HR Ops Leadership Team, this individual will play an integral part in the design, build and launch of the overall HR operating model and service delivery offering globally. Initially this will be a design, build and launch role with foundational activities taking priority such as building a demand management governance structure for all HRIS activities in Workday on IT SNOW, leading a project to address current state issues on the Workday platform, which are precursors to Op Model and HR Service Center, and enabling executive and operational dashboards within Workday for key stakeholders such as the CHRO, HRLT and the TA organization. This person report into the VP of Global HR Operations.
- PROJECT: Build demand management governance for HRIS team in order to manage and oversee work, progress, workload management, and priorities of demand items within workday.
- Operate with a mindset of tireless continuous improvement and unwavering expectations of operational excellence.
- Lead a team of process and technology SME’s toward the Re-charter project Phoenix, addressing major pain points within Workday, working with HRIS, HRLT members, key stakeholders in order to accelerate the successful completion of resolution of major issues with the biggest impact to end users.
- Key member of a team to design, build and launch the HR Operating Model inclusive of a three-tiered Global HR Service Center.
- Participate in the creation and execution of a multi-year roadmap for the HR Technology portfolio.
- Identify solutions to issues within technology and process across HR to enable COE and HRBP activity to be faster, easier, more efficient and to delight our employees.
- Contribute to the negotiation of the HCM contract with SME knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)

- Leadership of teams
- Six Sigma, or demonstrated problem solving using data
- Presentation and Communication to Executives
- Workday demonstrated expertise required and ServiceNow experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree required, Masters or MBS preferre or equivalent business experience.
- Global HR Ops/Tech/ TA Ops experience in a global Ops team
- Experience in managing a multinational team a plus.
- Experience with designing/redesign within Workday
- Service Now experience a plus – especially using it to help manage Workday activities.
- HR SME experience in at least one area of HR
- Workday expertise is a must, expertise as a consumer, admin, problem solver, team member, leader, and trainer of other HR or business leaders.
- Leading transformational change initiatives.
