The Opportunity
As a Senior Analyst in Risk Strategic Programs, you will combine project management and business analyst capabilities to organize, monitor, and control activities ensuring projects are delivered on-time, within budget, and achieve defined goals . You will coordinate with RSP leadership and project teams to ensure activities progress according to schedule, risks and issues are identified and mitigated, and the project is running cohesively towards the target end state. In addition, you will provide hands-on support that includes documenting business, data, or analytics requirements, conducting impact analyses, and supporting communication and change management efforts.
The Work Itself
- Responsible for management of integrated and workstream-specific plans, including identifying dependencies and issues and facilitating resolution; escalates issues to senior program leadership as appropriate.
- Partner with stakeholders to develop user acceptance criteria and test scenarios, and conduct initial user testing for technology initiatives.
- Manage program Team Room or other document management site(s), helping provide appropriate access and controls, monitoring deliverables, timely updating of key presentations / materials, etc
- Support RSP leadership and workstream leaders with planning and executing workshops and face-to-face sessions.
- Support governance preparation activities, gathering input from respective presenters, drafting initial governance messages and escalating when materials may be delayed.
- Develop business requirements, process flows, data requirements, technical requirements and use cases for technology initiatives, ensuring impact analysis is conducted and addressed.
- Coordinate regular program management meetings and working sessions, including status reports, reporting, minutes, action items and follow-ups.
- Build and maintain active, collaborative relationships within the RSP team and with business and functional partners within the program teams.
- Partner with the RSP leadership to plan and execute large-scale integration or implementation plans using established methodologies and tools.
- Responsible for weekly, monthly, and quarterly dashboards / reports for program and functional stakeholders / leadership.
- Prepare presentation materials to support program activities and stakeholder engagements for the program teams and key stakeholders.
- Support communications and change management activities and issues.
The Skills You Bring
- High aptitude for new skills, flexibility around work assignments, adaptable to changing priorities, and strong desire to work as part of a team.
- Highly organized and detail oriented, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
- Experience in Change Management, integration and/or program management experience preferred
- Experience working on complex initiatives, navigating cross-functional teams and working productively with varying levels of seniority and leadership styles; ability to build relationships and collaborate with business and functional partners to deliver solutions and solve problems.
- Strong PC skills required: Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint proficiency is a must. Adept at developing reporting and presentations.
- Strong communication skills; ability to structure documents and presentations to effectively communicate with teammates and senior management.
- General openness - wants to learn and excel in all aspects of job - ambitious but willing to perform tasks at all levels, including some routine or administrative tasks.
- Self-starter and results oriented – able to drive to deadlines, financial targets, project goals, etc.
- Comfortable participating in and / or facilitating large meetings.
- 3+ years of business analyst and/or junior project management in the Risk, Audit, or Compliance industry required
