Job Description

Status: Full-Time


Job Summary:


The Risk & Compliance Coordinator supports the Risk Management Department in the capacity of managing organizational policies, procedures, and contracts. The Risk & Compliance Coordinator will manage the policy and procedure workflow, adhere to deadlines and processes, upload documents, and conduct follow-up reporting. This position also assists in generating and reviewing contracts for True Health in addition to managing the storage and handling of all contract documents.


Position Expectations and Responsibilities:


  • Other duties as assigned
  • Generate reports out of the electronic documents system to determine compliance
  • Manage document storage in electronic system
  • Prepare and generate contract documents accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assist in obtaining medical records requests received via subpoena
  • Manage the organization’s policy and procedure master list
  • Upload policies/procedures into an electronic system and assign to staff once they are formally approved and ready for to dispersal
  • Be proactive and intuitive to the needs of the risk and compliance department and provide assistance to team members, as needed
  • Work closely and maintain a professional relationship with all departments
  • Work with department heads to ensure policies are updated and moved to the appropriate party for review and approval
  • Assist with preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed
  • Generate supporting reports as requested
  • Upload SOPs in the electronic document system and assign to staff once they are formally approved and ready for dispersal
  • Review contracts to ensure accuracy and verify pertinent information before full execution


Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma Required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical Services Management, Risk Management, Health Sciences, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of one to two years of Compliance and Contracts Management preferred


Physical Requirements:


Ability to stand, walk or view a computer screen for extended periods of time


Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel


Ability to reach with hands or arms


Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions for extended periods of time


Ability to effectively talk and listen to internal and external customers


Ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs without assistance


Relationship Reporting:


Reports to the Director of Risk & Compliance
