Areas , where the Project Coordinator will be involved, are as follows: financial billing, MavenLink setup, project code initiation, and material shipping (both cGMP and non-cGMP) .


Additionally, the Project Coordinator may be asked to fill in for customer meetings on an as-needed basis during a Project Manager’s absence.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Work closely with the Project Managers and clients in support of clinical product development projects Understand project scope and associated project quotes and change orders Work closely with the Quality Unit to ensure results for material testing are completed and submitted for approval for use in manufacturing Provide support to the logistics department as it relates to project material needs and timing Support Project Management in the daily tasks required to maintain customer expected timeliness and ensure all departments are aware of promised delivery dates Ensure requirements for operations and partners/clients are met Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear required documentation Assess, manage, and mitigate risks Provide Project Management and Senior Management with project financial status and support monthly invoicing execution Maintain financial tools for each project and overall project financial status budget versus billed on a monthly and annual basis Develop improved and efficient financial tracking tools as needed to support the financial visibility amongst the various departments Track project status for budget burn rate versus project estimates of milestone completions Provide project backup during instances of Project Manager absences Other duties as assigned by Manager REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES Excellent organizational and time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software Excellent written and verbal communication skills Willingness to learn multiple aspects of the clinical Project Management team WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service/technical support (preferably in the pharmaceutical industry Behave ethically; Understand ethical behavior and business practices and ensure that your own behavior and the behavior of others is consistent with these standards and align with the values of the organization Communicate effectively; speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques Creativity/innovation; Develop new and unique ways to improve operations of the organization and to create new opportunities EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technical Discipline PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Lift up to 50lbs. . While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee will be performing work in multiple buildings on the campus and frequently required to stand and walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee with be required to focus on reading/evaluating documents and expected to have great attention to detail.
