US - Remote - Frequent international travel

EVONA are working with a technology company that specialises in the development of sophisticated hardware and AI software for drone systems. They are focused on providing solutions to military and defence organisations globally. They are currently looking for an experienced Sales Director to join the team and help establish and grow out the business in the US.

As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for generating new business and driving sales of their solutions in the US. You will work closely with the sales and marketing team to develop and execute strategies that help to expand the customer base and increase revenue.

Responsibilities:

• Travel frequently to meet with customers and attend industry events, including international trips
• Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers
• Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts in the military and defence industry
• Attend industry conferences and events to promote products and services
• Negotiate and close deals with customers
• Provide feedback to the product development team to improve product offerings
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the target markets
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and execute sales strategies and plans

Qualifications:

• Proven sales track record
• Experience selling military equipment within the same network
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel extensively to meet with customers and attend industry events
• Strong networking skills and ability to build relationships with key decision-makers in the target markets
• Experience in selling to government agencies, particularly military and defence organisations

The ideal individual will be driven and self-motivated with a strong track record in US Government sales and a deep understanding of the military and defence industry.
