As a Business Analyst at JanSteel USA, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing solutions to enhance operational efficiency and achieve company goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts, to gather requirements, conduct data analysis, and develop actionable insights. Your role will involve assessing current systems, identifying opportunities for process automation, and supporting the implementation of technological solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), generating reports, and providing recommendations for optimizing business performance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct data analysis to derive insights and trends, and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Monitor and track KPIs, business metrics, and performance indicators to identify trends and areas requiring attention.
- Analyze existing business processes and systems to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Support the implementation of technology solutions by working closely with IT teams, conducting user acceptance testing, and providing feedback for system refinement.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for management, highlighting key findings, trends, and recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to the business domain.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Propose and develop solutions, including process changes, system enhancements, and automation, to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather, interpret, and analyze complex data sets.
- Knowledge of industry-standard software and systems, such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems.
- Experience in project management and working with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using data analysis tools and techniques, such as Excel, SQL, or data visualization software.
- Familiarity with business process modeling and documentation methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools as required by the role.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
