Restaurant General Manager Jobs

An established, locally owned, Hell's Kitchen restaurant and wine bar seeks an experienced, high/positive energy, and detail-oriented General Manager to assume all day to day management responsibilities.

You have solid experience managing restaurants of our size (about 60 seats) and a FOH/BOH staff of 25. You don't need to be a chef, but are comfortable in the kitchen and handling food, wine, and liquor ordering. You're able to hire and train new staff, handle schedules, and maintain a positive, energized work environment. You're able to do some light bookkeeping and take a personal stake in how the business is doing. Customer service and hospitality are second nature to you.

You have your NYC DOH food handlers permit and are well versed in maintaining DOH compliance on site. You like a fixed schedule, but have the flexibility to support the team after hours. You have a passion for food, wine, and hospitality.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
