SO, WHATS THE JOB?
Paramount Brand Studios Pitch is a market facing team passionate about meeting advertiser business and marketing objectives through innovative content and marketing solutions. We take a strategic approach to achieving our clients’ goals, using the Paramount vast portfolio of brands, creative capabilities, programming, events, and products to craft marketing solutions that drive client business success. On the Pitch team we are responsible for the end-to-end pre-sell process and strategy. The Manager works across audiences and advertising client categories as they craft revenue generating custom proposals and advertising solutions reporting into the Senior Director. In this role, you will partner with Advertising Sales and internal marketing functions to lead the development of immersive multi-platform marketing campaigns.
Collaboration, precision to detail and an unwavering commitment to success are core to successfully performing this role. You will be working closely with Activation and Creative colleagues on multiple client proposals and should possess a strong multi-tasking skillset and a commitment to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You must also be a highly skilled and influential communicator who is equally adept in written, visual design, and verbal forms in a clear and persuasive manner. Additionally, you need to be a real team player, a fan of our content, talent and franchises, and have a passion for developing innovative and creative sponsorship solutions for clients that are engaging, drive revenue and provide meaningful solutions.
THE DAY TO DAY:
- Liaise across internal marketing functions and guide partners towards the development of compelling and strategic proposals.
- Lead meetings and communications that are both client facing and across internal sales and cross-functional partners.
- Ownership of digital first sponsorship proposals across key digital business units of the portfolio (Paramount+, CBS Sports Digital, CBS News Digital, Pluto TV).
- Present marketing opportunities on client calls as part of the pitch process.
- Support the Sr. Director in building the strategic approach and campaign architecture of proposals by leveraging our core advertising products and creative solutions across Paramount brands.
- Spearhead cross-functional collaboration to develop multi-touchpoint big ideas.
- Budget for marketing programs, ensuring the solution is competitive with the marketplace, efficient for the client and profitable for Paramount.
- Coordinate the development of convergent, multiplatform proposals for advertisers in response to a Request For Proposal.
CHOPS YOU’LL NEED FOR THIS GIG: [AKA THE SKILLS SECTION]
- Strong grasp on culture with deep understanding of social media platforms, content formats, and influencer trends.
- Proficiency in social media applications
- Proficiency in Airtable and Microsoft Excel (or Google Sheets) a plus.
- Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously, with proven experience of working efficiently and cross-functionally.
- 5+ years media or marketing experience at a media company, tech, creative agency or brand with an emphasis on custom marketing solutions or partnerships and strategy.
- Talent in distilling complex information into simple, memorable terms that sales and clients can grasp and act upon.
- Adept at public speaking and presentation skills (on zoom or in person).
- Fantastic storytelling, writing, and interpersonal skills, with an understanding of how to craft and evolve narratives.
- Proficiency in presentation software (e.g. PowerPoint, Google Slides) with an eye for aesthetics.
**This is a full-time role M-F for a 3 month term**
Pay range- $91,000-$97,500
