Job Summary

The Regional Account Manager will be accountable for regional business development efforts via commercial accounts prospecting, negotiating and closing agreements/contracts, program implementation, reporting and strategic account management to grow the business. The Regional Accounts Manager will work with select franchise owners, regional commercial prospects and national commercial clients to build, grow and maintain long-term, profitable relationships within the key commercial account vertical markets within their designated region.


You will

  • Utilize contact record management (CRM) management system to document client & franchise community engagements.
  • Follow objective-to-objective selling process.
  • Conference with targeted regional client contacts to establish new regional programs and maintain existing programs.
  • Maximize account opportunities (leads, jobs, and revenue) by facilitating subregional and local relationships with the franchise community.
  • Assist with program implementation for all new commercial clients within designated region.
  • Lead target account execution efforts using business development process.
  • Mentor franchise personnel within region in order to improve client relationships throughout the region.
  • National/regional trade show participation.
  • Commercial Accounts Coordinator relationship development.
  • Present progress and clarify the vision of Commercial Regional Accounts at franchise area meetings.
  • Define and execute a written action plan (regional quarterly plan) including target accounts, client recall, new program implementation, and franchise communication tactics.
  • Work with the SERVPRO franchise community to identify top regional target accounts.
  • Communicate activities and results, reviewing the marketing progress of designated region (i.e. annual report, state of the regions).

You have

  • Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM proficiency.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Minimum five years seasoned relationship-based sales/marketing experience required and claims management and/or commercial sales experience a plus.
  • Candidates must reside in the Central market.
  • Ability to travel extensively by automobile and/or airplane, must have valid driver’s license.
  • Managing long sales cycle campaigns.
  • Closing.
  • Relationship building.
  • National or regional level and high dollar sales.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing and/or Related Degree).
  • Communications skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
