The Marketing Account Director for the University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC) is a full-time employment position reporting to the Vice President of Performance Marketing . The Marketing Account Director is a full-time position, managing a complex portfolio of agency relationships and internal clients.
UAGC has an integrated marketing strategy leveraging Video, Display, Paid and organic social, OOH, CTV, OTT. This includes platforms from: Bing, Google, Yahoo, Linkedin, Facebook. UAGC is a performance focused marketer, leveraging Attribution, MMM and sophisticated analysis tools to ensure effective marketing efforts. UAGC marketing currently has 18 full time team member who work collaboratively from around the US – engaging continuously with our agency partners and UAGC teams across the University.
The Marketing Account Director will play a key role in marketing execution, bridging the gap between internal and external teams. There is a varied combination of responsibilities, spanning: client management, budget management, project/schedule planning, creative/campaign support as well as supporting the marketing leadership in communicating results and accomplishments to internal stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Lead small to large projects including campaign development, Ad-tech improvement and ad/creative management.
- Identify gaps and opportunities in messaging, audiences, targeting
- Develop regular summaries of marketing strategy & execution for Sr Leaders
- Coordinate marketing team budget, including media & related contracts
- Coordinate with internal/external teams to execute media contracts and Insertion orders
- Support marketing analysts with performance reporting and analysis
- Leverage digital platforms to validate campaign execution, review reports and budgets vs actuals
- Leverage Unipro to create requisition and manage invoices
- Engage with the internal clients to coordinate marketing priorities
- Work as part of a team to translate strategies into marketing plans and tactics
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-4 Years of digital marketing experience
- Understanding of performance marketing ecosystem, platforms and approaches.
- Experience with 1 or more leading digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, FB, etc)
- Demonstrated experience managing schedules, budgets and priorities in a multi-client environment
- Experience delivering and communicating marketing performance and business results
- Experience communicating with Sr. stakeholders
- Advanced skill level with Microsoft office tools including Powerpoint, Excel
- Planful and creative thinker
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Digital Agency Experience with Display, Video, Social and Paid Search
- Experience delivering and communicating marketing performance and business results
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field
- Higher Education Marketing Experience
