The other Welldoc products are non-FDA-cleared and intended to promote general wellness and education/self-management of various chronic disease states.
Job Purpose
The Provider Engagement Manager is an external facing role that educates physicians and their office staff on the benefits of the Welldoc digital health application. Through their work, the Provider Engagement Manager aims to educate physicians and office staff to refer their eligible patient populations living with diabetes and other chronic conditions to utilize our digital health application, the Welldoc Platform.
In addition to external facing responsibilities, this position also supports Sales and Account Management to accelerate the adoption of the Welldoc digital health platform via clinical demonstrations of the Welldoc Platform.
This individual must have the ability and access to travel to New York, NY, Boise, ID as well as future customer locations across the US. The individual must be able and willing to engage in travel approximately 75%-80% of their time during assigned business hours.
Responsibilities
- Research physicians/clinicians and develop best practices to drive increased activations and engagement for eligible members to enroll into client programs
- Provide research or project support as needed.
- Educate physicians, practices virtually and in-person (as required) on client programs, including following up to secure engagement with eligible patients
- Support marketing activities such as patient advisory groups, provider focus groups and other customer engagement activities.
- Enable channel strategies to enhance physician and patient experience within client programs
- Strengthen provider engagement strategy through conducting and analyzing data, developing thorough documentation, and presenting recommendations to team and client programs
- Collaborate with commercial organization to provide real-world feedback to be integrated into product roadmap
- Remain current and up to date with ADA, AHA, and ADCES standards for programs and clinical guidelines as well as participates in data analytics and quality initiatives for the Welldoc expanding disease states.
- Meet or exceed physician appointment and patient enrollment targets.
- Lead virtual and in-person presentations and demonstrations of the product to physicians, clinicians, participants at relevant community events and other enterprise prospects/customers
Required Skills & Experience
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 75%-80% of time during assigned business hours.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, extreme attention to detail, and ability to prioritize
- Ability to successfully engage and interact with customers and collaborate with internal stakeholders across the organization
- Proactive leadership style with strong listening skills
- Healthcare industry experience – technology, terminology, systems and processes
- Base level of sales/marketing frameworks for digital health, device or life science products
- Ability to translate complex disease state information and data into simple language and communications
- Excellence in process management and organizational agility
- Proficient working in a fast-paced, agile environment requiring flexibility and adaptability
- Proficiency in digital applications and remote selling technologies (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce.com)
- Expert communication and presentation skills. Problem-solving talent and program development skills.
- Understanding of Health Plan and Health System workflows and priorities. Prior experience communicating with stakeholders across health ecosystems required.
WellDoc operates in ISO 13485 and MDSAP regulated and HITRUST compliant environments. Therefore, it is expected that all employees will have either prior experience working in those environments or, will be trained to understand the requirements needed to work and support those requirements and culture as they relate to individual roles and responsibilities.
Required Education
- Bachelors’ degree (in a clinical field preferred).
