Engagement Manager - Learning and Development
Start: Immediate
Duration Through December 2023
Location: 100% Remote
$60.00 Hourly - 1099
The Engagement Manager will work closely with the Aptara onshore leadership, the offshore Operations team, and the client leadership team. the Engagement Manager will also have strong functional design, project management, and communication skills.
· Engaging key points of contact for a relationship to ensure that the various ongoing efforts are proceeding as per expectation.
· Managing communication with the leadership on the client side to achieve tighter coupling between teams.
· Analyzing needs on the client side which Aptara can help meet, and suggest suitable execution plans for the same.
· Engaging stakeholders in high-level solutioning.
· Tracking and reporting status and providing weekly dashboard to the client leadership.
· Raising issues and working with the client and/or Aptara leadership to bring issues to resolution.
· Conducting routine functional reviews to ensure quality standards.
· Budgeting and Estimation.
· Laying down processes, policies, and standards for teams that map back to expectations from the leadership (as well as clients) regarding quality, productivity, efficiency and workflow.
· Supporting the project leads in the team with deliverables such as design documents, storyboards, reviews, feedback, etc.
Key Skills
· Client and Engagement management skills including experience with client facing delivery and application service delivery
· Experience with technical learning design and delivery
· Experience with and understanding of:
o Instructional Design concepts
o Need/Gap Analysis
o Storyboarding
o Quality reviews
· Ability to build productive working relationships with stakeholders and counterparts
Qualifications
- 5 years’ experience as an engagement manager and/or project manager
- Experience working with offshore teams in India
- 5 years of experience as an Instructional Designer; analyzing, designing and developing training content
