As Product Manager for Payer Services Products, you will:


  • Be a strong communicator, coach, and mentor.
  • Own the product roadmap, working with Services leadership, product managers, and other stakeholders across the company.
  • Be hands-on by leading high-impact efforts, be highly responsive to customer delivery.
  • Be the Communicator-In-Chief, serving as the critical juncture for information flows about our systems across account management, implementations, engineering, product.
  • Own the overall success of Datavant’s suite of technology products & systems that enable our Payer Operations teams to successfully deliver for our payer customers. This includes responsibility for the workflow tools used by thousands of employees to retrieve medical records via a variety of methods.
  • Be the champion & driver of product innovation processes & initiatives.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with leaders across the company, including sales, customer success, implementations, legal and marketing. You understand their perspectives and what they value and use that to keep them updated on roadmap and general product developments and benefits.
  • Have a deep understanding of the use cases we power, our clients’ businesses, and the broader Datavant ecosystem. Use that understanding to create our strategy and anticipate needs & risks.
  • Quantify performance by creating a metrics-driven approach to how your products are performing, time to resolve issues, and more.


What You Bring to the Table:

Our compensation philosophy is to be externally competitive, internally fair, and not win or lose on compensation. Salary ranges for this position are developed with the support of benchmarks (competitive San Francisco rates for US-based roles) and industry best practices.

This means we default to simple job titles (e.g., Software Engineer) rather than complex ones (e.g., Senior Software Engineer). The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job. The estimated salary range for this role is $190,000 - $210,000.
