The position is at a tech company. The mission of the People Operations team is to partner with and assist employees at all organizational levels with distinction. This position gives staff members a "go to" person who can assist with any questions and offer administrative support to the People team. The perfect applicant will bring a zeal for pushing the existing quo, creating efficiency, and discovering new methods to automate our People Processes. Automation and AI are at the core of what we do.



Responsibilities


  • Control, upkeep, and reporting for all of our Communities
  • Develop and oversee important People Operations initiatives and procedures for each of our People Products, many of which are from scratch
  • Own the Performance (talent) Review the entire process, including planning, launch, instruction, communication, and post-process reporting.
  • As a representative of People Marketing, collaborate with People Operations.
  • Own surveys on user satisfaction, from system introduction through communication. For reporting and the creation of action plans, collaborate with the people analyst
  • Launch monthly engagement weeks in collaboration with our communities (affinity groups).
  • Look for possibilities to put both tactical and creative solutions into practice in order to boost productivity and improve the working environment.
  • Own and manage awards for spot recognition programs and milestone anniversaries using Blueboard.
  • Partner with the People Operations Coordinator to introduce the annual Veritone year-end awards
  • Build good working connections with team members through working with partners and cross-functional team members (Legal, Finance, Payroll, and IT).
  • Business Partners for People and the Senior Director of People Operations' People Leadership program
  • Enhance and develop our people development programs going forward
  • DE&I
  • Maintain learning and development standards, implement programs, and improve employee communication
  • Utilizing KARMA to handle our recognition program


Qualifications


  • Ability to provide managers and staff with guidance and advice on a variety of topics, including training, immigration and visa issues, performance management, people process improvement, people metrics, and more.
  • Team-oriented and results-oriented
  • By overseeing all People programs, projects, and activities, make use of your outstanding People Operations Specialist talents.
  • A track record of success using best practices in people operations (HR) management
  • A desire for present People Products (initiatives) to develop and improve as well as a "builder" attitude
  • 4+ years of experience at the Associate level in a People Operations (Human Resources) position
  • Demonstrates the ability to think critically, listen, and analyze
  • Assist in the facilitation of changes for individuals and programs, connect with all stakeholders, and make sure messages are cascaded to the relevant team members by working with HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, and other functions.
  • Self-assurance in one's skills and expertise Capacity to take responsibility for projects and the results of delivery
  • Bachelor's degree necessary in human resources, human relations, or a similar discipline.
  • Excellent time management, project management, and prioritization skills
  • Workday and Greenhouse are desirable as systems with which the candidate has experience.
