Program Compliance at Codesmith
This role will collaborate closely with the People Operations & Compliance Manager to oversee program compliance procedures, reports, and processes.
Our programs are structured to ensure our students’ best interests are being met as outlined by state regulatory bodies. In order to provide quality education to our students, this role will support our Programs team in organizing, tracking, and reporting on all student and program compliance data where our in-person and remote programs are approved.
People Operations at Codesmith
In addition, this role will support certain aspects of people operations for our team. You will have the chance to coordinate onboarding for new hires as well as research, draft, and implement compliant company policies that enable our team members to do their best work.

Responsibilities
- Assist with ad hoc administrative responsibilities
- Coordinate onboarding tasks for new hires, with the goal of setting up each new team member for success
- Partner with the Programs and Admissions team to implement new compliance tracking processes that are efficient and sustainable
- Ideate on ways to organize our compliance data to make it easily accessible and auditable
- Work closely with the People Operations & Compliance Manager to map out future program compliance approvals and ensure all program submissions are set up for success
- Build relationships with new hires and existing internal team members to ensure the onboarding process is carried out as smoothly and efficiently as possible
- Be the “go-to” person for anything and everything compliance—understanding how compliance interacts with every step of our admissions process and program operations
- Assist with miscellaneous People Operations and Compliance responsibilities, such as collaborating with team members to host cultural and social events, research best HR practices and policies, and facilitate internal program regulation
Experience
- Have experience working with spreadsheets and Google Suite
- Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- 1-3 years of work experience
- Have a positive, “do whatever needs to be done” attitude with a growth mindset
- Are excited about what talented people from non-traditional backgrounds can do when they have the ability to code
- Have the ability to multi-task and work successfully in a fast-paced environment
- Have experience auditing files, managing checklists, or adhering to any form of compliance regulations
- Have experience managing multiple projects with various deadlines
- Are driven and ambitious in the pursuit of your own professional development, but are able to put Codesmith’s deeper mission first
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills - ability to effectively communicate with students, team members, and leadership
- Have at least one thing that you've pushed to an extraordinary level - maybe your academic success, a sports-related accomplishment, a company you worked for or started, an organization you’ve been a part of and/or contributed to - something that required drive and ingenuity for success

Salary
$56k-66k
