Job Description

Inspira Education (www.inspiraeducationgroup.com) is one of the fastest-growing edtech startups in the US, that helps college applicants and parents with the highest quality content, tutoring, and advising services for their college and graduate school applications.


We are currently hiring a full-time HR Generalist that will have a focus in recruitment. Led by a team of former admissions committee officers from some of the most prestigious universities, Inspira’s mission is to democratize access to higher education across millions of deserving students in the world, so that their education and life outcomes do not get determined by a zipcode or resources of their high schools. Inspira has thus built one of the deepest benches of admissions counselors in the world who support candidates with all the aspects of their application process and help them position the best version of themselves.


As we build and grow our core team, we have brought together some of the most passionate folks from the world of education, finance, non-profit, venture capital, and technology, to unlock human potential through education. We want to change the world, one student at a time.


We have seen tremendous growth and we recently raised our Series A financing from leading Silicon Valley investors including Craft Ventures, David Sacks (Founding Member of PayPal), Jeff Fluhr (Co-Founder and CEO of Stubhub), Kygo, and other prominent angel investors.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Developing and Nurturing Partnerships: Establish and maintain a strong network of schools, student organizations, and national institutions both in the US and internationally. Strengthen Inspira's reputation within these circles, building trust and credibility for our services.
  2. Expanding Reach and Engagement: Identify, research, prioritize, and cultivate new potential partners, including colleges, universities, medical schools, and post-baccalaureate programs. Your efforts will play a crucial role in significantly increasing the number of students who benefit from Inspira's specialized services.
  3. Student Engagement and Education: Serve as a knowledgeable and engaging resource for students, presenting valuable information through various channels such as workshops, webinars, and live Q&A sessions. You'll have the opportunity to directly guide and support students in their educational journeys.
  4. Community Outreach: Schedule and lead regular outreach exhibitions within the community, creating valuable connections and generating student leads while increasing the visibility of Inspira.
  5. In-Person Presentations and Travel: Prepare and deliver in-person presentations at colleges or partner organizations to foster strong relationships and showcase the value of partnering with Inspira. This role may require occasional travel.
  6. Collaboration for Success: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop and nurture existing partnerships, ensuring mutual success and a cohesive strategy.
  7. Innovative Initiatives: Propose and implement creative incentives that attract institutions and organizations to partner with Inspira. Your innovative ideas will contribute to our continued growth and success.
  8. Data Analysis and Adjustments: Utilize data-driven insights to measure the effectiveness of outreach campaigns. You'll have the opportunity to make real-time adjustments, increasing the efficiency and impact of our efforts.


Qualifications:


  1. Educational Background: A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field.
  2. Experience and Expertise: 2-5 years of proven success in client/customer relationship building and business development outreach, preferably within the education sector. Experience working with higher education institutions or established prep companies is highly valued.
  3. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to effectively engage with students, faculty, educational administrators, and partner organizations.
  4. Interpersonal Skills: The ability to build rapport and establish meaningful relationships with potential partners and diverse stakeholders.
  5. Autonomy and Time Management: Demonstrated capability to manage time efficiently, work independently, and effectively handle multiple priorities.
  6. Innovative Mindset: A creative and entrepreneurial approach to partnership development, with the ability to propose and implement unique incentives for institutions and organizations.
  7. Data-Driven Approach: Experience in utilizing data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of outreach campaigns, with a focus on continuous improvement and results-oriented adjustments.
  8. Passion for Education: A genuine passion for education, student success, and transforming the future of medical and law school admissions support.


Compensation: $60,000 base + bonus
