About The Team


The DoorDash Enterprise Grocery team sits on the New Verticals Enterprise Team and manages the strategic vision, acquisition, management, and development of grocery partnerships in the United States. Given the scale of our grocery portfolio, this team is a critical piece of DoorDash’s growth and success in every market in which we operate.


About The Role


The Enterprise Grocery Partnerships Director / Senior Manager will own the Grocery merchant portfolio and manage a team of Enterprise Grocery Partnership Managers driving the adoption and development of grocers across the DoorDash platform.You will report directly to the Vice President of New Verticals Partnerships. We expect this role to be flexible in terms of time spent remote and in-office.

  • Advocate for your vertical portfolio by serving as subject matter expert with DoorDash leadership and internal teams, representing its best interests and priorities in ongoing product and resource planning
  • Work cross-functionally with our Merchant Operations, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Analytics, and Sales teams to drive efficiencies via the creation and optimization of scalable internal processes
  • Lead a team of 15+ geographically distributed partnership managers to steer the development and scaling of new business opportunities across the Grocery portfolio in the United States
  • Own the strategic vision and prioritize team resources to drive maximum vertical growth and adoption
  • Develop long-term business plans alongside our partners for their omnichannel customer strategies

Qualifications:


  • You know how to take very broad challenges or opportunities and turn them into actionable projects with clear milestones and goals, with minimal guidance
  • You have a bachelor’s degree, MBA or other advanced degree a plus
  • You have experience managing and/or building large teams, and a passion for people management
  • You have 10+ years of experience in business development, strategy & operations, partnership management, account management, management consulting, business strategy, and/or investment banking
  • You are a problem solver at your core, with a strong bias for action
  • You’re comfortable with a fast pace and several moving parts
  • You are passionate about using analytics to build insights around problems and opportunities
  • You like rolling up your sleeves just as much as you like the big picture/thinking big
  • You have proven success working in cross-functional teams to build creative solutions

Compensation


The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation in other geographies may vary.


Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.

In addition to base salary, the compensation package for this role also includes opportunities for equity grants and sales commission.


California Pay Range:


$167,600—$266,800 USD


Colorado Pay Range:


$167,600—$240,000 USD


New Jersey Pay Range:


$167,600—$226,800 USD


New York Pay Range:


$167,600—$266,800 USD


Washington Pay Range:


$167,600—$253,600 USD
