Are you passionate about youth advocacy, civic engagement, and making a positive impact in your community? Look no further! YLAC Southwest Region is expanding its team, and we are excited to announce multiple job opportunities for dedicated individuals like you.

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

1️⃣ Communications Coordinator: Manages the region's communication channels, including social media accounts, website updates, and email newsletters, to effectively disseminate information and engage with stakeholders.

2️⃣ Events and Outreach Coordinator: Plans and executes regional events, workshops, and training sessions to empower and educate student advocates. Also responsible for establishing partnerships with community organizations and schools to expand YLAC's reach.

3️⃣ Legislative Affairs Coordinator: Monitors legislative developments at the state and federal levels, tracks bills relevant to YLAC's mission, and provides analysis and recommendations for advocacy strategies to the regional team and student advocates.

4️⃣ Fundraising and Development Coordinator: Leads fundraising efforts to support YLAC's initiatives and sustain the region's operations. Collaborates with local businesses, foundations, and individuals to secure funding and sponsorship opportunities.

5️⃣ Research and Policy Analyst: Conducts research on legislative issues, policy proposals, and best practices in youth advocacy. Prepares policy briefs, reports, and recommendations to inform YLAC's advocacy efforts and support evidence-based decision-making.

6️⃣ Regional Secretary: Provides administrative support to the Southwest YLAC Regional Director and the regional team. Manages correspondence, maintains records and files, schedules meetings, and assists with organizing events and logistics. Helps ensure effective communication and coordination within the regional team and with external stakeholders.
