Dodge Construction Network (DCN) is looking for an Outbound Sales Development Representative to join our team! The Outbound Sales Development Representative is an entry-level position with a fast track for advancement opportunities within the organization. As the first point of contact for many prospects, this role will have the responsibility of maintaining DCN’s highest level of standards and will focus on qualifying and generating new SaaS-based sales demos and opportunities to support the Account Executives on the Integrated Marketing Systems (IMS) team.
This position reports directly to the Sales Manager.
Location
For this position, we are open to remote candidates based anywhere in the United States.
Core Responsibilities
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly activity goals and update within Salesforce
- Research and identify Architectural, Engineering and Construction Management firms (A/E/C) that provide services which match the IMS coverage areas using all available resources
- Maintain high call volumes
- Follow the standard operating procedures as set forth by management to achieve the highest % success factors
- Identify the relevant contacts and/or decision-makers within A/E/C professional organizations for outreach
- Attain all Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) in order to reach and demo the desired number of prospects per day, improve our lead to opportunity ratio, and our opportunity to win ratio
- Drive lead opportunities and develop new business via outbound phone calls and utilize mass communications tools such as email, social media, SalesLoft, etc. to introduce IMS products/services and drive interest in demos/free trials
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and sales aptitude
- High Energy! Ambitious, friendly and have a superior work ethic
- Some successful Inside sales experience is preferred; having worked within large SaaS organizations is a huge plus
- Exceptional communication skills
- Aptitude for learning new software and technologies
- Adaptability for learning job responsibilities and processes
- Must be results-driven with the ability to adapt to a fast-changing work setting
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or combination of relevant work experience
- Improve performance results by continuously self-monitoring
- Exemplary decision making, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to cold call and build a resourceful pipeline
- Proficiency in desktop software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM) - Salesforce experience a plus
- Knowledge of the construction industry is a plus

Salary Disclosure
Base Salary range: $45,000 USD + Plus Commissions
This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job-related factors. DCN’s compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
