Job Description
As an AWS Business Development Representative, you will report to the Manager, AWS Business Development Representatives. You will work on a team of Business Development Representatives to drive business development at Mission and help prospects and clients harness the power of the cloud.

This position is 100% remote with up to 20% travel.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on leads and perform BANT qualification; hand off qualified leads to Account Executives
  • Capture, track, and advance qualified leads in Salesforce
  • Nurture and qualify Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)
  • Communicate compelling value propositions around Mission services to potential customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with AWS counterparts
  • Achieve monthly sales quota by generating opportunities
  • Attain daily metrics, including number of outbound calls and contacts made
  • Identify opportunities through cold calling and prospecting
  • Understand customer pain points and requirements and how Mission services can address those needs

Requirements

  • Experience building and managing customer relationshipsKnowledge of a CRM tool
  • 1+ years experience in IT sales
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner certification (required within first 30 days of employment)
  • Track record of consistently achieving quota in an outbound sales or prospecting role in B2B environments
  • Experience and willingness to learn new skills and technologies
