Sales Development Representative - Remote

Our Sales Development Team partners with Sales to identify and qualify customer opportunities for the team. In addition, we work with our Marketing team to increase our pipeline and generate demand.

Partner with the best

You will assist our SDRs in acquiring contacts for prospecting, research to guide account penetration and monitor calls to engage with customers, while also training to be an expert at selling our portfolio.

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for:

• Analyzing and preparing organizational reports for our strategic accounts to facilitate targeted Marketing and prospecting efforts
• Completing enablement courses around selling Akamai products for your next step as a Sales Development Representative
• Developing lead qualification and prospect engagement using our phone and chat system
• Using new contact acquisition leveraging tools including LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The On Target Earnings (OTE, base salary + commissions) for this position ranges from $72,673 - $109,163/year; a candidate’s OTE is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
