Mitratech is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Circa team and play a critical role in the growth of our organization. This team researches, prospects, and builds pipelines of qualified sales leads for our sales team. This is an entry level sales role, designed to build foundational sales skills and progress through our sales organization. Successful SDRs hunt new business through cold calling and other outbound prospecting, qualify the new business leads, and set meetings for the Account Executive Team.

About You

You are a motivated and driven individual. You’re a self-starter and a strong communicator, able to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

You are tech savvy, and quick to adopt new tools and processes. You may even have experience with lead generation, cold calling, working with CRM systems, or exposure to sales in the past. Most importantly – you have the desire and discipline to grow professionally and build a business-to-business software sales career!

About the Position

You will identify and quality prospective customers and key decision makers within those organizations through cold-calling, email, and outbound lead generation campaigns. You’ll establish the differentiated value of Circa’s offerings with senior executives and secure introductory business meetings for the Account Executive team. You’ll partner closely with the Account Executive team to open doors in key accounts, manage sales pipelines, and drive urgency in the sales process.

All new members of the sales organization go through a full training curriculum to build and solidify foundational sales skills. Coaching and mentoring is ongoing, as the goal is to achieve and maintain success in the role to be promoted to the Account Executive team.

Day in the Life

Most days will involve:

  • Collaboration with Account Executives you’re prospecting for
  • Outbound prospecting: 80-100 cold calls, email campaigns
  • Lead Hygiene: conducting research, identifying leads, building and refining prospect lists within your territory

Weekly activities may include:

  • Meeting 1:1 with your manager for coaching and skill development
  • Participating in Team Meetings, for sharing best practices and insights
  • Ongoing learning around industry, buyer, and sales development

On a more monthly or annual basis:

  • Attending strategic All Hands Sales Meetings and ongoing training and development
  • Hitting your goals!
  • Creating and refining your strategic territory plan
  • Conducting pipeline/territory clean up and management
