The Bridge Back Program is a 501(c)3 organization that funds Counterstrain treatment, research, and education efforts.
Our Impact Program directly funds up to three Counterstrain treatments for first responders, active-duty veterans, and health care frontline workers seeking treatment for traumatic stress injuries and the associated symptoms.
Our Research Program conducts clinical research trials that measure and verify the effects of Counterstrain when used to treat traumatic stress injuries and trauma where it is stored in the body.
Our Education Program builds public awareness by disseminating information about Counterstrain and its unique ability to treat trauma. We are also committed to launching a Scholarship Fund that supports the next generation of clinicians to become certified Counterstrain practitioners.

Position: Operations & Development Manager
Reporting Structure: This role reports to the Executive Director
Location: Remote (U.S.)
Job Classification: Part-Time, Contract
Time commitment: 40 hours/month
Compensation: $1080/month ($22/hr + Stipends)
Essential Duties:
- Assist Executive Director with administration of teams, programs, and projects
- Build out Standard Operating Procedures, templates, internal and public-facing materials, as well as liaise with third party professional services to manage the development, delivery, and archival of essential documents and materials.
- Serve as day-to-day point of contact for incoming inquiries and facilitate thorough follow-up practices to ensure that prospective patients and program participants receive prompt responses so that no one falls through the cracks.
Key Deliverables:
- In collaboration with the Executive Director, build and manage internal materials and systems processes, and procedures
- Assist Executive Director and Treasurer with Donor and Donation Management
- Provide administrative assistance and insight to the Executive Director
- Exceptional communication and care as “first contact” for the organization
Role Responsibilities
- Responsible for consistent analysis of systems and human experience (team members, donors, and patients) to support regular innovation and improvement of programs and internal practices.
- Work directly with the Executive Director to map out project budgets to help anticipate funding needs.
- Support the Executive Director with fundraising campaigns, donor relations, and donation management by researching donor opportunities, ensuring that donations are being processed, nurturing donor relationships, and distributing thank you notes, gifts, and receipts to donors.
- Support teams and projects with logistical and material support as needed
- Manage and maintain Legal Records (distribution, signing, and archiving) - board member job description agreement + conflict of interest disclosure, IP license, practitioner contracts, staff contracts, image and testimony release agreements
- Serve as point of contact for incoming communications and manage BBP’s administrative email, Facebook inbox, and phone and to answer questions and redirect inquiries as needed.
- Conduct occasional research for the Executive Director on legal compliance, non-profit procedure, third party services, etc.
- Meet weekly with the Executive Director and help develop meetings
- Track record of creating accessibility for neurodiversity, digital fluency gaps, and color blindness
- Monitor and collect data to assist in tracking important metrics for programs to prepare quarterly reports for board meetings, as well as for use in marketing and applying for grants
- Support the Executive Director in creating effective, resourced agendas for meetings with the Board of Directors, Practitioner Teams, Fundraising Committees and Volunteers, etc.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with Donorbox or an equivalent donation management software
- Diplomatic, patient, and thorough communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to support managing multiple priorities and timelines.
- Fluency in Google Workspace, Click-Up, Microsoft Suite, Slack
- Familiarity with accessibility differences, needs, and accommodations along intersections of neurodiversity, digital fluency gaps, color blindness, etc. and an ability to evolve assets and systems as new best practices are learned along the way
- Strong attention to detail — including a natural ability to check your own work / self-review work for accuracy and completeness.
- Training or experience in creating and/or sustaining consent-based, trauma-informed organizational and client care systems.
- Natural tendency to come to the table with answers ready to go. You are a creative problem solver.
- Background in healthcare or in depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and ability to make complex medical ideas simple when communicating with different audiences that hold diverse levels of education and awareness
- 3+ years of administrative or operations experience building, leading, and improving systems
Desired Qualifications
- Operational familiarity with canva, storybrand, or equivalent visual asset and storytelling platforms
- Familiarity with Counterstrain. How and why it works, symptoms it can address, and how to explain it to others.

Compensation:
This is a 6-month contract and the salary for this position is $22/hour. The anticipated time commitment required to meet the goals outlined for this contract period is 10 hours a week.
Including stipends, remuneration $1,080.00 a month and is distributed directly to the contractor.
