Red River is seeking a Business Operations Manager to join our growing team! The Business Operations Manager (BOM) leverages superior technical and people skills to implement corporate strategic plans through application efficiencies, creating new capabilities, and process improvement across divisions. The BOM understands long-term business needs by collaborating across business units and departments. Leading a team of product managers, business systems analysts, and developers the BOM aligns application roadmaps to corporate and technical objectives. The BOM proactively enhances Business Operations processes inside and outside the software development lifecycle (SDLC) with a focus on team scalability, efficiency, and stability. Managing the application support team, the BOM develops employees, sets direction, and communicates priorities and status up and down the organizational hierarchy.
Primary Position Tasks:
- Represent Business Operations in cross divisional initiatives and liaison with divisional leadership and executive management as necessary
- Continuous development of personnel with both technical and Red River business knowledge
- Oversee product roadmaps across the application portfolio ensuring alignment to Red River strategic objectives and on time execution of product delivery
- Other business duties as assigned
- Enhance Business Operations team processes inside and outside the SDLC
- Be highly responsive and flexible in a multi-project, fast-paced environment
Minimum Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:
- Knowledge of standard software development lifecycle
- At least 1 year experience leading/ managing a team.
- BS or BA in Business, Computer Science, or related field
- 5-10 years of experience working in Business Operations or Applications
Preferred Education/Certification/Experience:
- 3 years of ServiceNow experience, or ServiceNow Administrator certification
- Relevant professional certification for industry or specific application(s)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to multi-task
- Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central, D365 Sales, SQL, Workday, Costpoint, Integrify, & Onestream
- Proficiency in Office 365
- Proven leadership skills
Essential Elements (Mental; Physical; Equipment used):
This position is an office position that requires remaining in a stationary position for multiple hours throughout the workday.
This position requires the ability to continuously communicate with co-workers throughout the day utilizing Red River approved and/or provided communication tools and equipment.
Special Requirements:
Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advanced notice. Travel of up to 10% may be required, based on organizational need.
