MANAGER, LEADERSHIP SUPPORT

A Typical Week May Look Like This…

  • Manages the planning and prioritizing of executive schedules, including: calendar; expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence; arranging travel itineraries, scheduling and planning leadership meetings, communications.
  • Provides executive support to the CEO and members of the Executive Team. Manages communication between the CEO’s office, Board of Directors, and AFP’s Leadership Team to keep others well informed of upcoming commitments and events.
  • Manages, researches, plans, develops, and executes Board meetings in collaboration with the Executive Team and manages the production and organization of board meeting materials, creates agenda, develops script for flow of meeting and writes minutes following meeting(s).
  • Serves as an HR department back-up. Works to help HR to schedule AFP staff trainings, staff & strategy meetings with CEO and Leadership schedules.
  • Responsible for the internal administrative matters of the organization, providing direct assistance to the CEO and C-Suite, Leadership Team and managing the organization’s Board of Directors.
  • Serves as the Board of Directors Assistant Secretary and primary staff contact for the Board of Directors. Travels and coordinates quarterly board meetings. Maintains strong Board of Director relationships on behalf of the CEO and the organization.
  • Works to help support the HR department in scheduling and creating internal team in-person and virtual meetings.
