We are looking for an experience leader to work with third-party logistics providers to manage Starbuck’s expanding distribution network in the Texas Region. The Partner will need to be within a reasonable distance to the Distribution Center located in Dallas, Texas.

As a Regional Distribution Manager (RDM), you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the large distribution center within your assigned region, serving as the Starbucks point of contact for 3PL providers for service and cost accountability. This includes overseeing metrics, handling escalations, and leading and developing continuous improvement projects with the third-party logistics provider. The RDM will also assist with annual financial planning and work with cross-functional teams on projects, best practices, and operational opportunities.

The RDM is expected to inspire and influence others to achieve results and hold the distribution center accountable for performance standards as per Starbucks SOPs.

We’d love to hear from people with experience:

• Food service and food company distribution, either technical or operational - 3 years
• B2B and B2C fulfillment experience – 5 years
• Distribution facility layout and process design - 8 years
• Management, including third party and remote teams - 5 years
• Budgeting and managing relationships with third party logistics providers - 5 years
• Strategic planning - 3 years
• Logistics Service Provider Management - 10 years
• Implementation of warehouse and inventory systems - 5 years
