ABOUT THE COMPANY:

Our client is a fast-growing company that has gone from a start-up to a highly recognized OEM supplier over the past 10 years. The company's patented technologies are manufactured in the USA and improve the fuel efficiency of long-haul tractor-trailers by reducing aerodynamic drag.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Regional Director of Sales is responsible for growing our client’s market share in a multi-state region. This position is remote with 50% or less required travel on average which may fluctuate up or down seasonally.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES:

• Deliver live presentations and webinars to fleets, dealer principles, parts managers, and new truck and trailer sales managers.
• Meet with dealers to ensure they are trained and understand the company’s product offering, to support the fleets that buy from them.
• Extensive travel to customer offices, dealer events, tradeshows, and conferences on behalf of the company.
• Meet with fleet owners and fleet maintenance executives to help obtain commitments from their organizations to order the company’s products on new equipment or retrofit existing trucks and trailers.
• Enter and manage account information on a daily basis using the company’s CRM system.
• Assist with other duties related to sales and marketing as requested.
• Responsible for highly targeted sales of the company’s unique fuel-saving aerodynamic technology to fleets and truck dealerships in the long-haul trucking industry across a multi-state territory.
• Strategically transition major regions from direct sales to dealer sales by triangulating relationships between the company, the dealer, and the customer.

EXPERIENCE:

• Able to work remotely with discipline and organization – We are looking for someone who is a self-starter.
• Experience selling equipment within the trucking industry, in particular to business owners, maintenance managers, and dealers.
• Experience working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial team environment.
• Willing to travel on average 25-50 percent of the time.
• Experience in selling products that require the ability to sell a value proposition to the customer using tools such as ROI calculators.
• Successful track record of exceeding quotas within an assigned multi-state territory.
• Expertise in direct sales and pull-through dealer sales strategies.
• Experience selling a differentiated or disruptive product or technology to business owners.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

A competitive compensation package that is based on experience - with a base salary and bonus/commission opportunity. PTO and employee medical and dental benefits are provided at no cost to the employee.
