As manager, program management, L&CA, you are contributing to Starbucks success through active management of our technology, program, and project portfolios, prioritizing and delivering solutions that support and simplify the work of our Law and Corporate Affairs (L&CA) professionals. Your scope will include management of the global L&CA technology solutions portfolio and project backlog, as informed through user engagement, solution adoption, industry best practice, and market awareness; establishment of robust portfolio management practices to capture the operational work of the department; and partnership with cross-functional teams to ensure department requirements are represented throughout enterprise planning efforts. Additionally, you will oversee enhancement and maturation of L&CA analytics & reporting platforms to advance capabilities and foster data driven decision making.

As a manager, program management, you will…

• Lead business system analysts in providing first-line technology support to the department including ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and new solution rollouts.
• Leverage advanced knowledge of program management practices to drive prioritization, development, implementation, and sustainment of programs and projects.
• Support development of business cases toward justification and prioritization of resource investments.
• In partnership with Starbucks Technology, establish and maintain transparent view into the L&CA technology portfolio – existing solutions, ongoing projects, and project backlog.
• Continuously improve understanding of requirements to address the evolving needs of the global L&CA user community.
• Support enhancement and deployment of data analytics and dashboards.

General business experience in large, matrixed organizations

Experience building and leading teams, including PMs or Business Systems Analysts

In-house legal department operations and solutions experience
