The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Upskilling Program Management (Virtual) to join our Boeing Enterprise Software Engineering team.

The Senior Upskilling Program Management position will lead implementation and management of developing and implementation of updated employee leveling guidelines and systems to ensure the sourcing and retention of high performing talent within Boeing’s software engineering organization. This is a highly visible, multi-year program that impacts all areas of the organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a program that includes: differentiating Software Engineering job families, levels and skill, influencing the hiring process to ensure potential candidates meet the technical bar, as well as identifying opportunities and mechanisms to upskill and cross-skill our current employees. This role will integrate across Workforce Strategy and other key stakeholders to drive near term decisions in alignment with long term transformational strategies to enable up-skilling of Software Engineers while balancing customer, employee, business, and legal implications.

Occasional travel may be required but would be less than 10%.

Position Responsibilities:

• Identifies key program level horizontal and vertical integration interfaces between major activities, teams, suppliers, partners and customers
• Develops program organizational, work structures, top level program and execution plans
• Facilitates the resolution of program issues
• Leads development of the program architecture and top level plans for a program
• Supports the program manager in leading program execution by coordinating program metrics
• Implements customer and program communication and contract plans
• Integrates the implementation of the Program Management Best Practices

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Business or Economics
• Experience articulating and implementing strategy-to-action plans
• 10+ years of experience partnering with senior executives
• Experience working in a cross functional environment and/or business unit teams
• 10+ years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience developing and implementing knowledge management programs
• Experience managing relationships (external and internal)
• Strong change management skills and ability to influence without authority

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $127,500 - $197,800
